Mario Balotelli's stamp

Did Mario Balotelli purposely stamp on Scott Parker's head? No! In my personal opinion I believe it was an accident a clumsy coming together of two players, one bravely defending for his team the other trying to score for his team as both teams are deadlocked in a draw, two teams that are in the title race. I watched the game live and the force that the collision happened with was quite high Balotelli made some space for himself to get a shot away putting as much power as he could into the shot with Scott Parker harrying across to block it, resulting in Balotelli going up in the air and collided with Parker. You can show me the reply a thousand times in slow motion (which makes it look bad then it was) I believe Balotelli was only trying to regain his balance He is off balance with both of his feet off the ground he is only trying to get his footing.

It doesn't look pretty in video slow motion but there seems to be a negative growing tendency for the media to be judge and jury in cases like this the fact he immediately apologised doesn’t show to me a man who had made a cool calculative assault as the media are portraying (because forbid they would actual print real news) This would never have been considered a stamp if it weren't "always him" Mario Balotelli if this was someone like Steven Gerrard he would have been given the benefit of the doubt as there is no business in it for the papers to scrutinise players who are not in the media tabloid spotlight and their team they play for not being in the title race typical media frenzy in order to sell papers. Very unfair to malign a player in this way he has to have the benefit of doubt in the whole context of things. How could this be considered more serious than Lescott’s blatant malicious elbow on Kaboul in the same match or the blatant 'eye gauging' committed by Crouch the same weekend or Lescott’s, but then Stoke are not top of the table are they and its neither Wayne Rooney or Balloteli doing the gouging or elbowing its Crouch and Lescott who are not in the medias interest like Balloteli and Rooney.

Now the FA have given him a four match ban can anyone prove beyond reasonable doubt what the intention of the player was with his back to the supposed victim, whilst clearly trying to regain his balance? Both Parker and Modric knocked Balotelli over simultaneously. I dare YOU to try and perfectly control your feet, while one player tackles you and another pushes you Even if you think I am totally wrong how can you prove to me that your totally right? Regardless if you agree with me or not you most see the double standards of the FA here. How can you respect an organisation capable of appealing the Rooney red for its own self-interest against Montenegro and turning a blind eye to his assault on McCarthy last season (if it had been a high profile match I wonder if it would have been different?) and punish Balotelli on video evidence and not punish Lescott for his blatant elbow on Kaboul in the same match, yet prepared to uphold the Foy/Kompany red card. The FA should hold their heads in shame. Whatever you think it’s clear as day that Mario Balloteli cannot get a fair trial with the press the whole media frenzy which stinks of making Balotelli some sacrificial lamb, egged on by Sky and the London media mob. Mario Balloteli has been banned because Howard Webb has said after viewing the video evidence of both incidents he would have sent Balotelli off if he'd seen his 'stamp' yet wouldn't have sent Lescott off had he seen his forearm smash. There is no doubt in any sane person's mind that any other referee would have seen both as sending off offences, especially after seeing video evidence. For me, the Lescott elbow appeared, on the video evidence, to be more clear-cut than Balotelli's stamp.
